Polypodium vulgare L.

Flora Europaea the original Linnean specimen is missing from Linnean Collections in UK and the Linnean Herbarium in Sweden           A common fern on rocky substrata in the nemoral and boreal belts. Also one of the few sempervirent species in our flora as it can be seen in the images below. A good presentation of the three main European species (two of them present also in our flora) can be seen here.
